The Kate White Band is headed south on tour twice in the next 3 weeks!  The first:

2/27-28  We'll be at River Valley Community Church in Grants Pass, OR.  We will be leading worship on both Saturday night @ 6p.m. and Sunday @ 8:30, 9:45 & 11:11 a.m.  The Saturday night service will move straight into our concert, but if you can only come for the concert just slip on in quietly and make yourself at home!  And don't hold back if you're from Medford, now!

3/12-14 Our Yreka tour will take us to:

Drain Civic Center, Friday night 3/12 7-9 p.m., Yreka SDA Church for worship Saturday morning and Grenada Community Berean Church Saturday night to top off a marriage conference with our concert!  We will end the weekend leading worship at Eagle Point Community Church Sunday morning @ 10 a.m. in Medford / Eagle Point.

Details are on our Tour page!  Check in often, and for those of you in Southern Oregon and Northern CA, we hope to see you soon!

A.R.M.S. Luncheon

Today, I had the opportunity to address women who have come out of an abusive background and are stopping the relentless cycle of abuse in their lives - Either by not accepting that anymore from abusing spouses, boyfriends, family members; or by learning how to control their own anger and stop being abusive to others.

Today, I lead worship, did special music and shared briefly from an honest place.  This is an organization I love partnering with whenever I can.  If you or someone you know is struggling with physical or emotional abuse, please visit ARMS at their website: Abuse Recovery Ministry & Services

Journey Women's Retreat

Cannon Beach was a great location for 50 women from Camas, WA to meet up with me, look right out at the Pacific Ocean and consider with me what it means to "Leave A Legacy".  I just have to say that these were amazing, intentional women who had a heart to know God and heal anything in the way of that goal.  I was so blessed to walk this weekend with women of such calaber.  Two things stood out to me as I taught throughout the weekend:

1.  We can only pass on what is truly a part of us.  This includes what we are passionate about.  2.  What we receive or pass on is more "caught" than "taught".  How do we pass on healthy things and not everything else??  We shared laughter and tears as looked at our lives with honesty and grace..

Much thanks to the amazing retreat team that took care of their women down to the minute detail.  I was impressed!!

Concert at Larch Mt. Prison 11/22

It's been two years since we've been in Larch Mountain and we were excited Sunday afternoon to return.  My son had just lost a dear friend from High School, so my heart was really tender, but the men at Larch know all about loss, and as I shared honestly where I was at as we began, I really sensed a compassionate spirit from the men.

It was the first time we did a concert in the auditorium instead of in the chapel, so we had a great turnout...18-20 men prayed to receive Christ.  And afterwards, we had a great chance to hang out with some of the men and hear them play tunes for us!  This prison has a great mentoring program and chaplain.  Thank you, God!
